On the wooded flanks of Loch Pityoulish all was still. Winter slumbering.

Loch Pityoulish. The weather lately had ebbed and flowed hot and cold. Caught this one well after sunset in the blue hour. The clouds rolled in. The last of the daylight flickered to a close just as a snow shower swept accross this majestic loch.

Carn a Mhaim in the distance. This day en route to Devil`s point ( 1004 mts )in the heart of the Cairngorms. Setting out from Linn o Dee and via Glen Derry. With -8c in braemar and + 10 c on the mountain top. Unusual for mid winter but made for an excellent day
